Frontline Insight

The "Frontline Insight" Consulting Program is designed for business owners and leadership teams who want to deeply understand their operations, identify inefficiencies, and uncover opportunities for improvement by having a consultant immerse themselves directly into their business for a 3-6 month period. Through this program, I will shadow various departments, perform front-line tasks, and provide actionable insights to drive operational improvements, culture enhancements, and customer experience optimizations. 


Program Duration 

  • Total Duration: 3 to 6 months (flexible based on business size and complexity)
  • Time Commitment: Approximately 4-6 days per week (hours will vary depending on the area being observed)

Package Breakdown

Phase 1: Initial Consultation & Discovery (1–2 Weeks)

  • Business Review: In-depth discussion with leadership to understand business goals, pain points, and challenges.
  • Goal Setting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and specific objectives for the program.
  • Preliminary Data Review: Analyze business data (sales, customer feedback, financials, etc.) to identify key areas of focus.
  • Departmental Mapping: Identify which departments and areas of the business will be most impactful for observation and immersion.

Phase 2: Frontline Immersion & Shadowing (3-5 Months) This phase is the core of the program, where I will rotate through different business areas, spending a specified amount of time in each.

  • Frontline Operations: Spend 1–2 weeks in customer-facing roles (e.g., sales, customer service, retail, support, etc.). This allows for firsthand insight into employee challenges, customer interactions, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Departmental Rotation: After frontline immersion, I will rotate through other key departments (e.g., operations, marketing, finance, HR, etc.) for 2–4 weeks per department to understand internal processes, team dynamics, and business workflows.
  • Task Execution: During immersion, I will take on tasks or assist staff in various departments, performing real duties, and identifying friction points or inefficiencies that employees might encounter.
  • Employee and Leadership Feedback: Conduct one-on-one meetings with staff members and managers to understand pain points, cultural issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Phase 3: Analysis & Reporting (2-3 Weeks)

  • Data Compilation & Analysis: After the immersion period, compile and analyze data, feedback, and observations from all departments and front-line experiences.
  • Report Creation: Provide a detailed report with insights on operational inefficiencies, customer experience challenges, and suggestions for process improvements.
  • Recommendations: Strategic improvements in customer service, employee engagement, operations, and workflows.
  • Cultural Enhancements: Identify potential culture issues and propose team-building strategies or leadership adjustments.
  • Sales & Marketing: Highlight areas to optimize revenue growth and marketing strategies based on front-line feedback.

Phase 4: Implementation Support (Optional Add-On) After the report is delivered, the program can continue for 1–2 months to assist in implementing the recommended changes. This phase is optional and involves hands-on support in making changes based on your report.

  • Project Management: Oversee or assist in the implementation of key process changes or strategic initiatives.
  • Employee Training & Coaching: Train and coach employees on new systems, processes, and strategies.
  • Ongoing Consultation: Offer continuous feedback and adjustments as changes are made and improvements are rolled out.

  1. Comprehensive Report: A document summarizing all findings, insights, and recommendations based on direct observations and data analysis.
  2. Action Plan: A detailed action plan to address the areas of improvement, with a focus on short-term wins and long-term scalability.
  3. Employee Engagement & Leadership Recommendations: Insights into team morale, management practices, and cultural dynamics, along with recommendations to improve communication, morale, and leadership approaches.
  4. Customer Experience Enhancements: Suggestions on how to improve customer-facing processes, sales strategies, and overall customer experience.
  5. Post-Implementation Support (if applicable): Assistance in implementing changes with regular check-ins, coaching, and problem-solving.

  • Consulting Fee (Base):
    • 3-Month Program: $20,000–$40,000 (based on business size and scope)
    • 6-Month Program: $50,000–$170,000 (includes additional in-depth analysis and longer support)
  • Add-On Implementation Support:
    • Additional Monthly Fee: $5,000–$10,000/month for hands-on support, project management, and implementation assistance.
  • Equity or Performance-Based Options:
In addition to or in lieu of the upfront fee, you can negotiate an equity stake (typically 2%–10%) or a performance-based bonus tied to business improvements (e.g., 5%–10% of revenue growth as a result of your recommendations).
